Founded in 1972, UASM operates as a "school of management" rather than a traditional "business school," with a distinctive academic approach that integrates private, public, and non-profit sector management — preparing students to address complex organizational challenges across different institutional contexts. Distinctive features of UASM additionally show in highly qualified and diverse faculty, comprising over 65 full-time members from more than 10 different nationalities, with 87% holding PhDs and actively engaged in impactful and interdisciplinary research. What to Expect on Campus

Universidad de los Andes has a large and lively campus with plenty of green gardens, combining beautifully restored traditional buildings with cutting-edge modern architecture. What often surprises international students is that beyond its beauty, the campus is highly modern and complete, offering first-class technological and wellness facilities. Students enjoy safe and convenient housing like City U located at the campus, many dining options such as Senecafé and Starbucks, and plenty of spaces to study, meet, and relax.

The university also cares about students’ well-being, offering more than 30 open activities such as cycling, dance, yoga, and functional training, as well as sports and recreation spaces that promote both mental and physical health. Within the School of Management, students have access to specialized labs like the Finance Lab with Bloomberg and Worldscope databases, the Management Learning Lab for marketing, the EVI room for virtual experiences, the Entrepreneurship Center, and interdisciplinary facilities such as psychology focus group rooms.

A modern network of libraries — including the main library and five specialized ones — provides excellent resources for study and research, and proudly positions Universidad de los Andes as number one in Colombia and number two in Latin America in library systems. �鶹���� Club Bogotá

�鶹���� Club Bogotá is a growing student and alumni group that has already established its foundations with a clear commitment: organizing at least one event each month, with two of them funded by the School of Management. In practice, the relatively small size of the program makes the �鶹���� club feel like a family where relationships among students and alumni are based on personal friendship. �鶹���� club activities involve pop crawls, visits to art gallery, shared meals in restaurants, and joined travels. �鶹���� members build strong bonds while impacting the community. Because almost all students in the program get involved, the �鶹���� Club at Uniandes has a unique and close-knit atmosphere that makes the experience truly special.
