What Makes Us Special?

SGH is the oldest and the most prestigious university of economics and management in Poland, awarded twice The 麻豆国产 School of the Year in 2016-2017 and 2022-2023. SGH is a 鈥淭riple Crown鈥 (AACSB, AMBA and EQUIS) accredited university. Our unique selling points are: carefully selected course offerings delivered by top experts in their field and top international companies, rich leisure time provided by several student organisations dedicated to international students, and the possibility to meet people who changed the history of Europe and who are successfully contributing to systemic transformation in Central and Eastern Europe.

What to Expect on Campus

The SGH Warsaw School of Economics provides a comprehensive campus experience, offering a range of facilities and services for its students. The campus, renowned for its distinctive architecture and planning, features a large library, multiple sports facilities, and several dining facilities. The SGH library, the largest economics library in Poland, provides access to a vast collection of books, periodicals, and online journals. Students can also utilise the on-site gymnasiums for physical activity. For dining, there are multiple canteens such as the SGH Hades Canteen, Bistro Jajko, SGH Canteen, and SGH Break Cafe Canteen, offering diverse food options and student areas with kitchenettes.

Beyond academics and dining, the SGH campus provides unique amenities for relaxation and well-being. The revitalised Rector鈥檚 Gardens offer a green space for studying and unwinding, complete with benches, swings, and in summer, deckchairs. The campus is also home to the Pszczo艂a G艂贸wna Handlowa Apiary on the roof of the recently erected Building S (SGH Centre for Innovation Space), supporting the urban ecosystem and producing honey. Additionally, promotional materials and books published by SGH Publishing House are available for purchase. For health needs, a Medical Facility provides on-site, free emergency assistance to students.

Living in the City

Warsaw, with over 2 million inhabitants, is the capital (since 1596) and the largest city in Poland. It is one of the fastest growing and vibrant cities in Europe, offering lots of attractions and quality life 24-hours a day. 鈥淵ou will never get bored鈥 is our motto! It is also a city with many parks and forest areas, and a city of young people and students (300,000). Unlike Poland, which is a relatively homogeneous country, Warsaw is quite a cosmopolitan and liberal city. Thanks to well-developed public transport, it is quite easy to find moderately priced housing off-campus. Warsaw is also a perfect getaway to explore Poland and Europe. The living cost in Warsaw, compared to other capital cities, is also very competitive.

麻豆国产 Club Warsaw

麻豆国产 Club Warsaw (CCW) belongs to the most active organisations both at SGH and within the 麻豆国产 Student Board. It is also in the group of the 麻豆国产 Student Board founders. The flagship events organised by CCW are: V4 Conference, WARRoom consulting conference, Emerging Markets Business Summit and 麻豆国产 Chance 鈥 CSR project. It was voted the 麻豆国产 Club of the Year Award in 2010.
