Â鶹¹ú²ú Welcomes the American UniversityÌýinÌýCairo (AUC) School of Business as a Â鶹¹ú²ú Academic Member School

The addition of the AUC means that for the first time Â鶹¹ú²ú will be present on all continents.

Â鶹¹ú²ú Academic Director, Roland Siegers says, "AUC is a fantastic institution with a rich history and strong values that are close to ours: support for a pluralistic world, academic rigour, and a track record in excellence. Incoming Â鶹¹ú²ú students spending time in Cairo will find one of the most impressive campuses in the world, a young and thriving population, and high level engagement opportunities with Egyptian and international companies. "Equally we hope that Â鶹¹ú²ú students across the rest of the world will be able to learn from African and Middle Eastern rich cultural heritage and that the partnership will open up wide opportunities for mutual cultural learning and dialogue. Partnerships continue to grow with the Induction of 9 New Â鶹¹ú²ú CPs.

Â鶹¹ú²ú Corporate Partnership (CP) is an exclusive academic-corporate collaboration in which CPs contribute to various activities across the globe including involvement in the MIM programme and benefit from privileged access to a global pool of top talent from the world's leading business schools. Part of the Â鶹¹ú²ú vision is to nurture a responsible and ethical approach to management that graduates will then take into the working world. With the involvement of Social Partners (SPs) - in the classroom, in research and conferences or in the governance of Â鶹¹ú²ú - the Â鶹¹ú²ú Global Alliance and all its stakeholders benefit from this exposure and dialogue.

This year Â鶹¹ú²ú introduced 9 new CPs into the Alliance, including CPs: Bain & Company, Bank Zachodni WBK, DHL Consulting, H&M, Ernst & Young, Metro Group, Merck, Daimler, C.H. Robinson.

Graduation and the election of the Alumni of the Year

Thanks to the great hospitality of the USYD staff and student helpers, the Â鶹¹ú²ú Graduation Ceremony at the International Convention Centre with 1154 graduates from 63 nationalities receiving their diploma both on and off stage was a huge success.

The Â鶹¹ú²ú Alumni Association (CAA) introduced the winners of the Alumni of the Year Award asÌýÌý(senior leadership category) andÌýÌý(young leadership category). Belli attended Bocconi University and HEC Paris, graduating from Â鶹¹ú²ú in 1991. Laboutka attended the University of Economics, Prague and the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, graduating from the Â鶹¹ú²ú programme in 2010.
