�鶹���� Welcomes Eugenia Bieto as the New �鶹���� Chair

ESADE Director General, Eugenia Bieto, has joined the �鶹���� Global Alliance as Chair of �鶹���� at the Annual Events. Pr. Bieto will be taking over responsibilities from Pr. Andrea Sironi, Former Rector of Bocconi University. Her appointment is coming at an important point in �鶹���� history, with the adoption of a �鶹���� vision statement, streamlining of alumni affairs and a moment when the organisation is enhancing its globalisation strategy, projects all successfully started by Pr. Sironi.

Sironi.

Pr. Bieto will be joined by �鶹���� first Vice Chair and Dean of the University of Sydney Business School, Greg Whitwell, to lead the �鶹���� Global Alliance over the next 2 years.

Partnerships continue to grow with the Induction of 11 New �鶹���� CPs and 2 new SPs.

�鶹���� Corporate Partnership (CP) is an exclusive academic-corporate collaboration in which CPs contribute to various activities across the globe including involvement in the MIM programme and benefit from privileged access to a global pool of top talent from the world’s leading business schools. Part of the �鶹���� vision is to nurture a responsible and ethical approach to management that graduates will then take into the working world. With the involvement of Social Partners (SPs) – in the classroom, in research and conferences or in the governance of �鶹���� – the �鶹���� Global Alliance and all its stakeholders benefit from this exposure and dialogue.

This year �鶹���� introduced 11 new CPs and 2 SPs into the Alliance, including CPs: Bayer, CITIC Bank, Dentsu Aegis, E-ON Inhouse Consulting, Gartner, Hyundai Motor Company, Longshine Technologies, Microsoft, Simon Kucher & Partners, Tsinghua Unigroup and Zeb; and SPs Kiron Open Higher Education and The Global Alliance for Banking on Values (GABV).

Record number of graduates and the election of the Alumni of the Year

"Thanks to the great hospitality of the SSE staff and student helpers, this year we experienced an incredible series of events at the SSE and we celebrated the �鶹���� Graduation Ceremony at the Globe Arena, with 1281 graduates from 65 countries receiving their diploma both on and off stage," says Roland Siegers.

The �鶹���� Alumni Association (CAA) introduced the winners of the Alumni of the Year Award as Karin Jestin (senior leadership category) and Joeri van Geelen (young leadership category). Jestin attended HEC Paris and the University of Economics, Prague, graduating from �鶹���� in 1993. Van Geelen attended the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University and the Norwegian School of Economics, graduating from the �鶹���� Master in International Management programme in 2011.
